Happy Birthday Econet

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ECONET

Econet wireless
Communication made so effortless
Such is innovativeness

Born out of inspiration
To transform my world is your aspiration
What a conception!

Your birth was not easy
Vultures waited to destroy you like leprosy
They were so jealousy

The baby is now a teenager
Like David, you fought scavengers
Oh what courage!

Now that you are sixteen
Your light shines like your Solar Lantern
Making banking better like Eco-cash

Your passion for education, brought us Eco-school
And your compassion Capernaum Trust,
Never ending love like Econet broadband
Like Eagles students fly with J Nkomo scholarship

Econet , you are my Buddie for life
A wise teenager changing lives farmers lives with Eco-Farmer
You are my bundle of joy
I chose you to be my Business Partner
Because you are a good Steward!

Happy Birthday Econet

UNTIL AFRICA...

Africa, we are always at the receiving end.
Climate change has caused more harm to Africa than developed countries.
Those countries are highly industrialized and they decide our fate.
Their technology, they bring to Africa to experiment, what do we really make in Africa?
We will never be free until we invent our own technology,

Until mathematics is taught in our languages,
Until we make our own medicines and put them in hospitals,
Until we are permanent members of the UN security council,
Until we stop looking for answers from the west and the east,

Until we teach our children that we are not blacks, until we stop celebrating when electricity comes back after load shedding and teach our children its their right for the government to provide electricity,
Until we see each other as important people in our communities and that we need each other,
Until corruption is viewed as evil by everyone,
Until the governments becomes responsible to the people, until we embrace our diversities as humans ,
Until we believe in ourselves, until the person reading this message spreads it to other people, until those who receive it change ,
Until those who change embrace the change,

And finally Isaiah 32:15 Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance forever. And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place. Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.

CONGRATULATIONS COMRADE!

Congratulations Comrade!
The enemy woke up in a camisade
The imperialist shall never invade
For through the ballot we forbade
This victory is sweet like lemonade!

THIS LAND -YOUR INHERITANCE

This land my son,
Is your only inheritance under the sun
It came through the barrel of a gun
Please guard it jealously
For underneath it lies treasures

This Land my Son is your only Inheritance
Out of it shall come  your sustenance
Take heed , lest you fall into a trance
For the vultures are waiting for that chance
Listen my son, for my words are without repentance

Be very courageous
That you defend this land so precious
Men and women fought battles so dangerous
They died in real war not fictitious
In the hands of imperialist so ruthless and notorious

Open your eyes my son
The enemy shall not rest
Look they come from the East and the West
With money they come to you to test
Never give in , for what you have is the best
Because to see you suffer is their quest

Now I can't  sleep  in peace
Because your brother dines with the beast
With foolish treasures he boasts
While like a king he feasts
But for this land they are thirsty!

TODAY IS OUR DAY- OUR WEDDING POEM

Today is our day
So our true love we portray
We have been waiting for this day
In our memories it shall stay
We have come a long way

Now that you are my wife
We start a new life
As we thank God that there shall not be strife
In this world where evil is rife
Look now we rise

You are beautiful Agnes
I love you my princess
I thank God for His loving-kindness
For He has blessed me with greatness
Now my life is filled with happiness
Without you it was meaningless

Please help me rejoice
For I made a great choice
Let be raise my voice
I am not drunk as you suppose
But I am expressing my love for this lass
For today is our day you see.

FOR YOU AGNES BEFORE I SLEEP

FOR YOU AGNES

Agnes, I  love you
This poem is for you
I have found love in you
I trust  you, because i love you
Let me sleep now
I will see you tomorrow
I will put my pen under my pillow
Just know that am not done , but more to follow
For now I need to sleep , I feel hollow!
