THIS LAND -YOUR INHERITANCE

This land my son,
Is your only inheritance under the sun
It came through the barrel of a gun
Please guard it jealously
For underneath it lies treasures

This Land my Son is your only Inheritance
Out of it shall come  your sustenance
Take heed , lest you fall into a trance
For the vultures are waiting for that chance
Listen my son, for my words are without repentance

Be very courageous
That you defend this land so precious
Men and women fought battles so dangerous
They died in real war not fictitious
In the hands of imperialist so ruthless and notorious

Open your eyes my son
The enemy shall not rest
Look they come from the East and the West
With money they come to you to test
Never give in , for what you have is the best
Because to see you suffer is their quest

Now I can't  sleep  in peace
Because your brother dines with the beast
With foolish treasures he boasts
While like a king he feasts
But for this land they are thirsty!

TODAY IS OUR DAY- OUR WEDDING POEM

Today is our day
So our true love we portray
We have been waiting for this day
In our memories it shall stay
We have come a long way

Now that you are my wife
We start a new life
As we thank God that there shall not be strife
In this world where evil is rife
Look now we rise

You are beautiful Agnes
I love you my princess
I thank God for His loving-kindness
For He has blessed me with greatness
Now my life is filled with happiness
Without you it was meaningless

Please help me rejoice
For I made a great choice
Let be raise my voice
I am not drunk as you suppose
But I am expressing my love for this lass
For today is our day you see.

FOR YOU AGNES BEFORE I SLEEP

FOR YOU AGNES

Agnes, I  love you
This poem is for you
I have found love in you
I trust  you, because i love you
Let me sleep now
I will see you tomorrow
I will put my pen under my pillow
Just know that am not done , but more to follow
For now I need to sleep , I feel hollow!

NOW YOU SINK!

Deep down into oblivion
All you lacked was vision
Betrayed the revolution
Now your sinking is like an illusion

There you go, to and fro you run
Like a headless chicken you are done
They have closed all the roads,
While you slept like a god
When shall you learn?
You had a decade and a half to learn
And you call me insane?
I am not dreaming but awake
You trusted them with your wife
But they turned on you to bite

What is left of you now?
And all those who had relied on you, in poverty they wallow
Your life you prepared and its wow!
Now you go and wait for another chance I suppose
All you do now is to oppose,
Such is politics  , like a drone
You are bombed unaware
Your map they have drawn
Each step you take , you drown

Whether you shall rise , I doubt
A heavy blow they have dealt
I am not cruel and insensitive to lay on you the blame
You slept and relied on fame
While they spent sleepless nights scheming,
How best to outmaneuver you was their planning.
Like a tree you have suckers
Look now they rise
As the sun on you dawns ,
Now you SINK!

Accused

I have been accused of speaking out  my mind all the time , actually I don't, but I just say out what you do and  thats not my mind!- tdjava2013
Victims

Bruised , battered
Pain like a woman in labour
Victims of political violence!
Their superiors eat and dine
Yet they suffer like pressing wine
When shall they rest,
From the world's toast.

Deception!

Deception

Revolutionaries!
Driven by the masses
They hate oppression
The love for justice is their impression
Sooner or later that great desire,
That longing,  for freedom expires

What has happened oh please?
You once had a passion for this cause,
Oh it is the money or power I suppose
You have dumped us after use
Now you pursue your own power and ego
But we know that now you go

My heart bleeds for the poor man
Whose dream is to have a simple meal,
When shall he stop to kneel
Each time you want his vote you lie
His rest shall be , when you die
